Jesus Christ is the King
Jesus Christ, the son of God, is without discussion, King through all eternity. He came to this world like a little child and was praised as king, since the beginning. His fellows at that time expected Him to lead Israel in a difficult time under the rulership of the romans. Jesus knew, that the romans wasn't our real enemies, but that it is the sin in us that has the power to let us perish. Only death can pay for our sin towards God.
Jesus died of His own free will and paid for us with his own life. When He had paid, God was able to raise Him up from the death, beceause He was pure himself. Jesus rose as a conquering and triumphing king.
God rose Him in power and in glory. He received all the power and every knee in heaven, on earth and under the earth shall bow for Him, and confess that Jesus Christ is lord.
God placed Him above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come, is placed under His feet.
The rulership of the world does now belong to us and He shall be king for ever and ever.
The LORD will reign for ever and ever.
With that power which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church.
Phillippians 2: 10-11
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.
